A Bias-Flip Rectifier with a Duty-Cycle-Based MPPT Algorithm for Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting with 98% Peak MPPT Efficiency and 738% Energy-Extraction Enhancement

Sijun Du have been awarded the Dutch Research Council (NWO) talent program - VENI grant, with the first place in ranking at the Applied and Engineering Sciences (AES) domain.

The VENI grant is the most prestigious grant for early-career researchers in the Netherlands. The award rate is usually under 10%.

Sijun Du started his postdoctoral research at Berkeley Wireless Resarch Center (BWRC), Department of Electrical Engineering & Computer Science (EECS) at University of California, Berkeley, CA, USA.

Sijun Du presented a paper at the ISSCC conference in San Francisco, CA, in 2018. This is the FIRST EVER ISSCC paper from the University of Cambridge.

Sijun Du started his Ph.D. research at the Department of Engineering, University of Cambridge, Cambridge, U.K., where he was affilated with the Cambridge Nanoscience Center and the Queens' College (pictures left).
